Superstar Rajinikanth's latest offering 2.0, the sequel to his 2010 blockbuster Endhiran directed by grand maker Shankar, and bankrolled by lyca productions has been setting the box office on fire with huge collections.
With the movie crossing 15 crores mark in Chennai alone, becoming the Second Highest grosser in Chennai only next to Baahubali 2 the conclusion, the movie has grossed more than 600 crores worldwide within just 2 weeks.
On the other hand, the movie has created a new record in the US box office as it has reached $ 4.7 mn surpassing Kabali's earlier record of $ 4.15 mn to become Kollywood's biggest blockbuster grosser at US box office. The movie is still running in few parts of the USA.
